TURBO STREET CLASS:
Brian Ballard takes the win with a 9.468@153.25 to Jason Lopes 11.19@128.02. The CSI/K&N Filters Cobalt was impressive all weekend in route to another class win. Brian and the CSI team only had one run outside of the 9 sec. range and that was on a competition bye. Jason and his Horizon Motorsports SCION TC gave chase but encountered a few mechanical problems.
UNLIMITED STREET TIRE:
Dan Dixon takes the win with a 10.092@152.26 to Dave Zientara's 11.676@159.49. This was an all AAP MOTORSPORTS/ROPER PUMPS final round. Dan took the lead out of the hole and then spun the tires as Dave started to reel him in to only start spinning himself. This was a classic pedal fest of Drag Radial cars.
PRO STOCK:
Norris Prayoonto takes the win with a 9.580@140.90 to Saul Salceda's 9.589@141.73. This was another all Clutchmasters final round with Norris taking the win over his team mate Saul. The team mates had identical .085 reaction times with Norris crossing the finish line first with only a.009 lead. This was the closet race we have seen in the NDRA.
PRO 4 CYLINDER:
Kenny Tran takes the win with a 8.352@172.72 to Darryl Hudson's 15.864@50.33. The Quaker State/SCION TC of Kenny Tran was impressive all weekend. In route to the win Kenny set the new NDRA world records for class et and speed. 8.192@174.08 Darryl Hudson and his Buscher sponsored AWD Talon suffered transmission failure after the launch.
PRO STREET TIRE:
Ryan Martin takes the win with a 8.439@168.28 to Chris Anderson's 8.725@167.47. Ryan and team are newcomers to the NDRA but put on a impressive show all weekend for the Drag Radial fans. AAP/ROPER PUMPS Chris Anderson took the starting line advantage but lost it shortly after he went into massive tire shake about 60 ft out.
PRO OUTLAW FWD:
Jason Hunt takes the win with a 7.566@195.76 to Marty Ladwigs 31.186@60.06. Like we have seen a lot on PRO FWD this was an all GM COBALT final. Jason piloted his CSI/MATCO TOOLS COBALT to the win when Marty's LUCAS OIL COBALT broke off the line. Jason and his CSI team put together several impressive 7.50 passes at over 190 mph.
PRO OUTLAW RWD:
Jim Blair takes the win with a 7.229@197.88 to Angel Padilla's foul start. Jim and his ATF Sponsored Mustang are new to the NDRA but ran strong all weekend in route to his first event win in the series. Angel and his bright red mustang are also new comers to the NDRA and wound up on the wrong end of lights when he gambled on a holeshot attempt.
PRO:
Brad Prsonett takes the win with a 6.578@215.51 to Dan Saitz's 9.103@102.70. The Titan Mail Order SCION TC of Personett ran extremely strong from 3rd round qualifying all the way to the event win. Before 3rd round the team switched from the twin turbo set up to a single turbo set up and grabbed the pole for qualifying. After the switch the car never ran out of the 6.50 range. Titan grabs another NDRA win in the PRO class. Dan Saitz and his HYPERFORMANCE Motorsports twin turbo Ford Probe gave chase to the Titan car but never found traction.
